Physical Address

A registered office of a company is required when forming a company in Ireland. This address must be a physical address where all legal correspondence will be sent to by the Companies Registration office. It cannot be a PO box number.

The registered office address of a company is kept on file by the Companies Registrations office, and these details must be kept up to date at all times. A company has just 14 days to notify the Companies Registration Office of any changes to particulars of a company. If there is a breech of this obligation, every officer of the company will be guilty of an offence.
